When I was in that monastery in Kentucky and had countless hours to contemplate everything and anything, I ran through the list of everyone I have known in my youth and high school career. You have all affected me and added to me and if you are reading this I probably miss you more than you would ever expect. It's so fucking hard to accept that I am now opening a new chapter in my life because it means that the last chapter has to end.

And as for giving credit to where it is due: Alicia Curtismith's last post is the catalyst for this one.

i know exactly what you mean and it is so hard to accept. i think about it everyday. people change and things change and we move on but its hard to realize that certain things are never going to be the same again and we are never going to be as close to certain people as we once were. sometimes its still hard for me to even realize that we dont live together anymore and we are never going to hang out in the loft and stay up all night talking about our boy problems...

I know. I was just thinking about the day you moved out and how I didn't expect it to hit me as hard as it did. I just stood in your old room and cried.

I miss you and Alicia. We were always such a small part of each other's lives, but I hope we remain in each other's lives even in that small way.
